A-Frame Dog House
A number of dog houses are marketed as "A-frame" houses although most of them
are not true A-frames but rather conventional houses with a peaked roof and four
speaking, an A-frame house is in the shape of a triangle (or the letter "A")
with a steeply sloping roof that extends all the way to the ground on two sides.
The steep slope of the roof is designed to help heavy snow slide to the ground,
instead of staying on top of the house. Another benefit is that since the roof
extends to the ground and doesn't need to be painted, it minimizes the amount of
exterior maintenance that is required. For these reasons, A-frame houses are
popular as vacation homes - for humans.
